The gufa (cave) in Deuchuli of Nawalparasi has equal natural and cultural importance. Situated about 1800m above the sea level, it is believed that the five Pandavs along with their wife, Draupadi, lived here. The clay –made sculptures of various birds and animals are believed to be crafted by Draupadi. Due to the religious importance, the conservation of this cave has been carried out so far.
