The Ram mandir is one of the famous pilgrimage sites lying in Janakpur. It was built by Amar Singh Thapa in 1782 A.D. (1839 B.S.) in Pagoda style. The main attraction of this temple is the statue of DASHAWATAR BAISHNAV. This temple was built on the very place where saint Chaturbhuj Giri has found the Panchayatan statue. In the vicinity of the temple lies a lot of shivlings.
